FAQ
How long is a session?
Between 1-2 hours. If we are both still feeling creative and having fun after 2 hours, and we go over by a few minutes, I won't charge you more. I don't like to limit myself and having a strict time I need to end the session isn't fun for me.
What areas do you travel to?
I usually travel in Lebanon County, Lancaster County, Berks County, and Dauphin County, but would be willing to travel outside of those areas.
Do you have favorite locations?
I usually do sessions at Conrad Weiser Homestead, Lititz Spring Park, and Middle Creek, but would love to try anywhere new. Even if that would be your backyard!
Can I bring a few outfit changes?
You can bring a few options along. Most people don't do more than two outfit changes not including jackets, shoes, or jewelry changes. That counts for newborns as well!
Can I bring any props?
Sure! I'm up for anything. If it represents you, I want to photograph it.
Can I bring anyone along?
Yes! If you have someone who will help you feel comfortable, they are more than welcome to come along. Anything to help you smile is fine by me!
Could my dog come, too?
I love dogs! The only thing I would ask is that you have someone with you to take care of the dogs when we are shooting your other portraits.
How many images can I expect?
Usually between 40-60 images not counting any images I special edit in black and white. I do not limit myself, though. If we happen to get through a bunch of different options quickly and I end up with 100 images I find would work for you, I will give them to you. The ones I like best are not necessarily the ones you will like best.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Nope! You get digital rights to all the images I deliver to you. Which means you can choose any print lab you would like. Once you receive your gallery, there will be an option to order them through me. That would be the easiest for you, but certainly not the only way.
Do you do older family portraits?
No. I only focus on growing families. I do children of all ages, but not in family sessions. I find I enjoy focusing on one child at a time rather than the whole family as a unit.
